The American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama is an independent nonprofit organization founded on October 31, 1979, thanks to the drive and vision of a group of Panamanian and U.S. business leaders who sought to promote trade and investment between Panama and the United States.
From 68 founding companies, today we are a solid community of more than 400 member companies from different countries, part of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA), which brings together more than 20,000 companies representing 80% of U.S. investment across the region, and part of the network of more than 180 AmChams worldwide.
To be recognized as the leading promoters, educators, and catalysts of trade between Panama and the United States.
To facilitate exchange and commercial development among companies, organizations, and institutions in the United States and the AmChams of the region, within the framework of free trade and business ethics.

We connect leaders and companies across the region with opportunities that foster the country’s commercial and sustainable development. Discover the AmChams that make up AACCLA on the AmCham Locator Map.
