San Miguelito School Leadership Program 2026 Holds Its Second Mentoring Session

By Comunicaciones AmCham

On August 4, AmCham Panamá held the second mentoring session of the San Miguelito School Leadership Program – 2026 Edition, an in-person gathering attended by 28 participants, which made it possible to strengthen the support and collaboration between volunteer mentors from the Chamber’s member companies and the participating school administrators, with the support of Glasswing Panamá, the strategic partner responsible for supporting the coordination, monitoring, and documentation of the program’s results, contributing to the achievement of the objectives set for this edition.

During the session, principals and assistant principals of schools in San Miguelito continued to advance in their mentoring work toward carrying out the educational projects they are implementing in their schools, receiving guidance, feedback, and strategic support from the mentors. This session was a valuable opportunity to deepen the work begun during the first virtual meeting and to follow up on the objectives set for each project.

Through this process, the mentors share their professional experience, knowledge, and leadership tools, giving participants practical perspectives that allow them to strengthen their management and educational leadership capabilities. The exchange of ideas and experiences during the sessions also encourages the building of support and learning networks among participants.

The San Miguelito School Leadership Program reflects the commitment of AmCham Panamá and its member companies to strengthening education in the country, promoting concrete actions that advance school leadership, innovation, and the sustainable development of school communities.

AmCham Panamá thanks the member companies that make this initiative possible through the participation of their employees as mentors: AES Panamá, Arias, Abrego & López, BDO, Cevaxin, Dell Technologies, Grant Thornton, IGRA – Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán, Minera Panamá, Modatrading Fundación ITS BY TAC, NECOM, Novutec Group, Petróleos Delta, Quality Leadership University, Ricardo Pérez, RSM Panamá, S.A., The Metropolitan School of Panama, United Airlines, and Venturia Legal.
