AmCham Holds Its Traditional 2026 Mid-Year Reception

By Comunicaciones AmCham

On Wednesday, August 26, AmCham Panamá held its traditional mid-year reception at the Residence of the Ambassador of the United States in Panama. The event, presided over by H.E. Kevin Marino Cabrera, Ambassador of the United States to Panama, and Mariela de la Guardia Oteiza, President of AmCham Panamá, brought together more than 140 guests from our member companies.

During the evening, H.E. Kevin Marino Cabrera and Mariela de la Guardia delivered inspiring remarks that highlighted the strong bond between the two nations and underscored the commitment to strengthening trade ties and economic growth for the benefit of both countries, as well as the promotion of free trade, transparency and respect for the rule of law, among other values.

This year the reception carried a very special meaning, as the United States marks 250 years of independence. The occasion invites us not only to look back and recognize a history of growth and transformation, but also to think about the future and the opportunities we can still build together.

The strong turnout at this event reaffirms, once again, the importance of these forums for strengthening binational cooperation, deepening ties within our business community and continuing to build opportunities for shared growth.

We thank Ambassador Marino Cabrera for his hospitality and all our members who joined us and helped make this a memorable evening.
