On Wednesday, September 9, we held our second Members’ Recognition & Networking event at Club Unión.
For our member companies, gatherings like this one are a valuable opportunity to strengthen their networks and build new relationships that help reinforce ties within the business community, for the benefit of Panama’s sustainable development and economic growth.
The event brought together executives from more than 60 companies in the country, from sectors such as Energy, Transportation and Logistics, Education, Legal Services, Technology, Banking, and Auditing, among others. This type of setting is just one of the many benefits of AmCham membership, which facilitates connections across more than 20 key business sectors and thereby promotes the growth and strengthening of members’ businesses.
During the event, recognition plaques were presented to 26 member companies for membership of between 5 and 45 years, acknowledging their continued presence and valuable contribution to our business community. The traditional speed networking session was also held, giving participants the opportunity to meet one another, exchange ideas, and explore new business opportunities.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation by Michael Marangell, the new Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the United States in Panama, whose participation reaffirms the importance of continuing to strengthen trade and business ties between Panama and the United States, as well as of creating settings that drive new opportunities for collaboration and exchange.
We also extended a special welcome to our new members, celebrating their incorporation into the AmCham community and highlighting the importance of continuing to expand our business network with organizations that bring value, experience, and new perspectives to our community.
The event reaffirmed AmCham’s commitment to continue creating settings for connection, recognition, and collaboration that strengthen our business community and contribute to the development of new opportunities for our members.
