{"id":4925,"date":"2026-09-29T07:28:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T12:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/panamcham.rewind10.com\/met-delivers-the-final-training-session-for-principals-and-teachers-of-the-san-miguelito-program\/"},"modified":"2026-09-29T07:28:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T12:28:00","slug":"met-delivers-the-final-training-session-for-principals-and-teachers-of-the-san-miguelito-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/panamcham.rewind10.com\/en\/met-delivers-the-final-training-session-for-principals-and-teachers-of-the-san-miguelito-program\/","title":{"rendered":"MET delivers the final training session for principals and teachers of AmCham Panam\u00e1&#8217;s Programa de Directivos de San Miguelito (School Leadership Program)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of our commitment to strengthening leadership skills and educational transformation, <strong>AmCham Panam\u00e1<\/strong>, with the support of member company <strong>Metropolitan School of Panama<\/strong>, delivered the sixth training session of its program for principals and teachers of educational institutions, focused on <em>\u201cEducational and Technological Innovation: Tools for Using AI in Education\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training brought together 35 participants from 18 educational institutions, including 17 principals and 18 teachers from schools taking part in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, attendees explored the potential of artificial intelligence as a support tool for school management and for teaching and learning processes. The facilitators covered practical applications of AI for academic planning, adapting materials, generating activities, analyzing information and streamlining administrative tasks, allowing participants to discover new ways to strengthen their daily work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session also encouraged reflection on the role of educators in an increasingly digital environment, highlighting the human capabilities that remain irreplaceable, such as building relationships of trust, providing emotional support, teaching values and developing critical thinking. Participants agreed that technology should be seen as an ally of the educational process, always keeping human judgment at the center of decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session included a presentation of tools such as Diffit and Khanmigo, along with practical examples of how to use them to meet different learning needs and encourage more personalized and inclusive teaching strategies.
